COVID-19 Updated Rules

Click this link to find a document that details how we MUST proceed to be able to enjoy our pool. PLEASE read it carefully and then read it to any children and/or family members who will be enjoying our pool. These regulations must be followed or you will be asked to leave the pool. The guards are available to assist with any questions you may have. Please respect their authority in helping everyone enjoy the pool this summer.

We will begin our season with a reduced capacity to allow both staff and members to adjust to our physical distancing and enhanced cleaning requirements. Capacity will be increased as it is safe to do so.  We urge you to consider your fellow neighbours when planning the length of your visit. If there are members waiting to enter because we are at capacity, the guard on duty will blow their whistle and announce that there are people waiting. If you have been enjoying the pool for 1 hour or longer, please consider offering to leave so that one of your neighbours can enjoy the pool. If staff find that capacity is a recurring issue, they will implement a sign-in list so that members can be asked to leave after an hour at busy times.

Please note that we are working closely with our governing body, the Lifesaving Society, as well as the Region of Waterloo (Public Health) to ensure that all members have a safe and enjoyable summer! Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any question or concerns @ pool.operations@beechwoodwest1.ca.

Thank you,
Laura Cowley and James Perrault
Co-Directors of Pool Operations
